- Item masters with multi-level BOMs for sensor assemblies
- Work Order management with operation routing
- Serial number tracking for finished goods (field traceability)
- Warehouse management — raw materials, WIP, finished goods
- Purchase cycle: suppliers, POs, receipt, quality checks
- Accounting: chart of accounts, AP/AR, bank reconciliation
- Customer management: quotes, orders, invoicing
Manufacturing-specific configuration
- Production planning based on sales orders
- Job Card tracking per assembly operation
- Material consumption tracking against BOMs
- Scrap and yield management
A hands-on training approach
For a small team, training had to be practical, not theoretical. We trained each person on their specific daily workflows rather than running a generic ERPNext overview.
